Every day is different, and the balance between life, family, career, and oneself shifts daily. I was previously in the military, and now I am enjoying my civilian job. The transaction was rough because the military life is very organized, and at first, my civilian life was more like a hurricane. It was a hard lesson, to which I am adding new tasks. We cannot change the past, but we can make a difference today and avoid stressing about tomorrow. What can we do today to have the best day? We can’t rewrite the past, but we can shape the present, one good choice at a time. When those choices stack up, they create a life that feels lighter, clearer, and truly yours.
